Another disturbance will bring some accumulating snow to the region for Thursday. Although snowfall amounts will not be significant, some slippery travel is expected.
Much of the region will see Trace to 5 centimetres of snow, while areas in Southwestern Ontario, portions of Eastern Ontario, and areas of Midwestern Ontario see 5 to 10 centimetres of snow. However, it is important to note that local amounts may differ, bringing less snowfall than forecasted.
Snow will begin falling overnight into the early morning hours. Some slippery road conditions are expected for the morning commute, especially in Southwestern Ontario. Travel with caution.
Environment Canada has issued Winter Weather Travel Advisories for areas off Lake Huron, portions of Northumberland County, areas of Prince Edward County, Niagara, and Simcoe - Norfolk County. The areas off Lake Huron are expected to see snow squalls tomorrow into tomorrow night.
