As mild air moves into the region on Wednesday, strong wind gusts are also in the forecast.
The strongest wind gusts are expected over the Niagara region and areas near Georgian Bay, including Owen Sound, Collingwood and Barrie. These areas will see wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/h.
Across the rest of the region, Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario will see wind gusts of 80 to 90 km/h. Wind gusts will be weaker for areas further east.
High winds can cause damage and toss loose objects. Now is a good time to secure any outdoor objects, or bring them inside. Power outages will be possible.
